KEASBEY, N.J. — ShopRite will open four new stores in Connecticut this week.

The locations are among the 11 former Shaw’s sites purchased earlier this year by ShopRite’s parent Wakefern Food Corp. here and its members.

New ShopRites in Canton, Enfield and Stratford are set to open Wednesday, with a Hamden store scheduled to open Friday.

The Stratford and Hamden sites are owned by Milford Markets, which also owns ShopRite stores in Milford and West Haven, Conn.

The ShopRite of Canton is owned and operated by Joseph Family Markets; the ShopRite of Enfield is owned by Miller Farms Family Markets.

Four additional former Shaw’s locations are slated to open as ShopRite in June, with another three to follow during the summer and fall.
