BELLEVUE, Wash. — Haggen Inc. rebranded a 63,000-square-foot former Top Food & Drug store here with the Haggen name using the its new “Northwest Fresh” theme. The company, based in Bellingham, Wash., is rebannering all 15 of its Top stores to the Haggen name and the new theme, which emphasizes local product, new service departments and departments named after local geographic references. The “Northwest Fresh” philosophy is built around three core values: “community,” “homemade” and “delight,” C.J. “Gabe” Gabiriel Jr. told SN. Haggen also operates 13 stores under the Haggen Food & Pharmacy banner.
