BOULDER, Colo. — Sunflower Farmers Market on Wednesday opened a new store in Tucson, Ariz., the retailer here said.

The store is the 21st in the chain and its third in the Tucson market. A fourth Tucson location is scheduled to open later this year.

Sunflower is a natural and organic discounter. It received $30 million in funds for expansion from PCG Capital Partners last year. It plans to open addition new locations in Austin, Texas; Dallas; Colorado Springs; Albuquerque, N.M.; and Santa Fe, N.M., this year.
