AUSTIN, Texas — Sunflower Farmers Market is promoting the conversion of its three Texas stores to the Sunflower name with in-store events, entertainment and contests this Saturday.

The stores — here and in Dallas and Bee Cave — were converted Wednesday from the Newflower Farmers Market banner to Sunflower Farmers Market. As previously reported, Sunflower recently acquired the rights to the name from Supervalu for most of the U.S.

"Music, food, face painting and fun!" the company said on its website. "Celebrate the rebranding of Newflower — Texas style! Grocery bag giveaways throughout the day and outdoor grilling!"
