WEST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — Shaw’s Supermarkets here said it will re-open three newly renovated stores on Friday featuring a variety of equipment upgrades, as well as expanded offerings in many categories including seafood, produce, bakery and natural/organic.

The stores include a Star Market in Marshfield, Mass., and Shaw’s locations in Wareham, Mass. and Middlebury, Vt.

“From the products and services to design layout, Shaw’s is committed to delivering a shopping that is tailored to meet the needs of our local customers,” Larry Wahlstrom, Shaw’s president, said in a press statement. “These redesigned stores will bring a greater selection and variety to our neighborhood customers, while offering a fresh, new feel to their shopping experience. We look forward to continuing to provide the freshness, convenience and value our shoppers expect.”

Shaw’s is a division of Supervalu, Minneapolis.
