Trader Joe's has signed a multi-year agreement with the Los Angeles Sparks — a member of the Women's National Basketball Association — to become one of its "Champion Partners" — the highest level of team sponsorship.

MONROVIA, Calif. — Trader Joe's here has signed a multi-year agreement with the Los Angeles Sparks — a member of the Women's National Basketball Association — to become one of its "Champion Partners" — the highest level of team sponsorship. The agreement includes signage at Staples Center, where the Sparks play; a "Trader Joe's Night" at a Sparks home game; and tickets and charitable involvement for Trader Joe's Hoops for Hunger program that benefits the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. As a Champion Partner, Trader Joe's will receive logo placement in the Sparks' print and Web marketing programs and increased coverage during community events and programs. The Sparks will open the regular season May 17.
