Dollar Tree, which saw most of its C-suite depart last summer, continues to rebuild its executive ranks.
The Chesapeake, Virginia-based discounter on Thursday added several people to leadership posts, including Jennifer Bohaty as chief compliance officer, Terence Goods as chief diversity officer, Jennifer Silberman as chief sustainability officer and Kristin Tetreault as chief communications officer, the retailer said.
“These important additions demonstrate our company’s commitment to improving the experiences of our shoppers and building an engaging culture of belonging for our associates,” President and CEO Mike Witynski said in a statement.
Bohaty previously served as global chief of ethics and compliance at LL Flooring and has also held leadership roles with Toys ‘R’ Us and Target.
Goods most recently served as VP of diversity and inclusion at Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits. He has more than 20 years of human resources experience, including positions at Wells Fargo, Bank of America and JCPenney.
Silberman comes to Dollar Tree after working as VP of environmental, social and governance for YETI. She has previously led corporate responsibility efforts and teams for companies including Target and Hilton.
Tetreault previously served as VP of enterprise and executive communications at tool company Stanley Black & Decker. She has also held communications leadership roles at The Hartford Financial Services, UnitedHealth Group and Texas Instruments.
As we continue to build our leadership team capability and focus intently on culture, compliance and ESG, I’m pleased to announce the additions of Jennifer Bohaty, Terence Goods, Jennifer Silberman and Kristin Tetreault to the Dollar Tree team,” Witynski said.
In June, Dollar Tree announced that its COO, CIO, chief legal officer and chief strategy officer had left the company and that the chain’s CFO would transition out of his post once a successor was named.
In September, the company announced the hiring of Pedro Voyer as chief development officer, just days after naming Michael Creedon, Jr., chief operating officer.
In July, Bobby Aflatooni was added as Dollar Tree’s CIO, replacing Andy Paisley who exited the company during the shake-up.
