Aldi is continuing its brick-and-mortar growth around the country, as the discount grocer opened five new stores on Thursday.

Aldi’s expansion last year saw new stores across the Southeast, but 2023 has included all regions of the U.S. as well.

The new store openings include:

3571 Browns Bridge Road, Cumming, Georgia

10201 North Rieger Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana

2385 McGrady Drive SE, Cleveland, Tennessee

2025 South Stephenson Avenue, Iron Mountain, Michigan

8686 Lake Worth Road, Building D, Lake Worth, Florida

The discount grocer, which frequently opens multiple new stores per week, revealed plans to add a total of 120 new locations in 2023, bringing Aldi’s store count nationwide to more than 2,400 by the end of the year. According to the grocer’s website, Aldi now has 2348 locations.

Founded in 1961, Aldi this year took the top spot as the most-trusted discount and small-format grocer, according to the 2023 Most Trusted Grocery Retailers in America list conducted by market research firm BrandSpark International in partnership with Winsight Grocery Business and Newsweek.
