On Thursday, Aldi will hold ribbon-cutting ceremonies for the following new stores:

  • 200 Lafayette Avenue, Moundsville, West Virginia

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for six years running,” said JR Perry, Saxonburg regional vice president for Aldi, in a statement. “We’re excited to open our first Aldi store in Moundsville and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”

Aldi will also open two relocation stores on Thursday. The retailer will relocate its Huntington, Ohio, store to a new location in South Point at 228 Township Rd in Southpoint, Ohio. In Illinois, Aldi will relocate its Rockford store at 3861 W. Auburn St. to a new location at 3801 W. Riverside Blvd.

With Thanksgiving next week, Aldi recently cut prices on over 70 Thanksgiving favorites. “With inflation still looming, we're providing shoppers extra relief to make the holidays a time for celebration, not stress,” said Dave Rinaldo, president of Aldi, in a statement.
