Lazy Acres Partners With DoorDash

Last-mile logistics provider DoorDash has partnered with Lazy Acres Natural Market, a Southern California-based natural and organic fresh food retailer, to offer on-demand grocery delivery from all Lazy Acres locations in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Diego.

DoorDash will offer thousands of items from Lazy Acres’ five stores, including a full assortment of organic and seasonal produce, all-natural grocery items, premium grass-fed meats, wild-caught seafood, vitamins, supplements and body care items. Consumers can now shop for their favorite Lazy Acres products on the DoorDash app and website and get them delivered to their doorstep, same day.

“Lazy Acres believes in providing healthy foods to everyone within our communities. We’re proud to provide organic and local produce, grass-fed meats, wild-caught seafood, functional supplements, body care and more,” said Joe Ragusa, VP of marketing and merchandising for Lazy Acres Natural Market. “We’re constantly seeking opportunities to better serve our neighborhoods and guide them on their wellness journeys. Our partnership with DoorDash will help us expand convenient online access to the most innovative and nutritious natural, vegan and gluten-free foods that Lazy Acres has to offer.”

Lazy Acres is part of the Southern California-based Good Food Holdings, which is also the holding company for Bristol Farms, Metropolitan Market, New Seasons Market and New Leaf Community Markets.  

DoorDash, which recently launched ultrafast delivery, is a technology company that connects consumers with local and national businesses across the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan and Germany. In addition to restaurants and c-stores, the company has continued to forge delivery partnerships with grocers, including Albertsons, Hy-Vee and Meijer.
