NEFFA EVENT STARS RETAILERS

Hundreds of retail and allied-industry professionals gathered for the Northeast Fresh Foods Alliance conference, held last month at the World Trade Center in Boston. The two-day event featured the release of the organization's first-ever benchmark study on Northeast consumer buying habits, as well as a follow-up question-and-answer period with actual shoppers discussing fresh foods. But it wasn't all business. The first day was topped off with a trade reception at the Seaport Hotel, adjacent to the exposition.
