New Peanuts and Snoopy and his sister Belle cake and cupcake designs will be offered at leading retailers nationwide, beginning with initial designs unveiling at bakeries in time for Valentine’s Day. To launch the program, Valentine’s Day cake designs highlighting Snoopy and Belle were recently featured at a Peanuts themed Valentine’s Day Party with Francesca Capaldi who will be starring as Charlie Brown’s beloved Little Red-Haired Girl in the 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky Studios Peanuts 3D feature film debuting worldwide on November 6, 2015. Party-goers at the Park Hyatt in Carlsbad, CA enjoyed Snoopy and Belle Valentine’s cake and had fun decorating their own Valentine’s themed cupcakes. “We are thrilled to be working on Peanuts,” says Mike McGlynn, CEO, DecoPac, continuing, “these characters are iconic in the marketplace. DecoPac is excited to bring a full Peanuts program to the bakery to highlight these amazing properties in innovative ways.” “With its established bakery heritage and leadership in bringing quality licensed products and bakery solutions to market, DecoPac is perfectly positioned to drive the Peanuts cake and cupcake decorations business,” says Carolann Dunn, executive director, hard goods, Peanuts Worldwide LLC. “In a year where Peanuts will be featured on the big screen, DecoPac’s Peanuts products will be an important part in driving the celebration with consumers.” DecoPac is currently working to launch both seasonal and movie themed products which will continue to roll out through 2015. Beyond Valentine’s Day, Peanuts will also be featured in graduation, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas designs.
