Diestel Launches GMO-Free & ABF Turkey Deli Slices

Diestel Family Turkey Ranch, a family-run sustainable farm since 1949, is introducing the first-ever antibiotic-free and non-GMO deli slices to the market, company officials say. Diestel’s pre-sliced turkey breast is made from whole muscle meat and features higher protein and lower in sodium than conventional brands, company officials say, adding that it is  non-GMO verified, thoughtfully-raised without antibiotics, 100% vegetarian fed, GAP Step 3 rated and completely free of artificial ingredients, added nitrates or nitrites, gluten, carrageenan, and MSG. On the family ranch in the Sierra Foothills, the traditions of Great-Uncle Ernest who started the farm are continued. The flock is walked every day and close attention is paid to the health of the turkeys. The birds are raised almost twice as long and with nearly three times as much space as conventional birds, officials add. Diestel turkeys also enjoy a wholesome vegetarian diet of grains milled and mixed daily on the ranch. Available in organic and natural varieties, flavors include: Naturally Oven Roasted, Naturally Smoked, Honey Roasted, Peppered Roasted, Herb Roasted, Pastrami Seasoned, Chipotle Seasoned, Organic Oven Roasted, Organic Smoked,Organic Honey Roasted, and Organic Fresh Roasted. The SRP is $5.99 for the antibiotic-free turkey and $6.99 for the organic turkey.
