Dole Sponsors 2015 United Fresh Retail Produce Manager Awards
January 1, 2018
Dole Food Company has partnered with United Fresh Produce Association to collectively honor the nation’s most creative and progressive retail produce managers. The Retail Produce Manager awards, presented during the Retail-Foodservice Celebration Dinner at the United Fresh Show in Chicago, recognize the nation’s top 25 retail produce managers for outstanding fresh produce merchandising, special displays and promotions, community service and customer service. Dole, based in Westlake, Calif., sponsored the awards to shine the spotlight on the efforts of its retail partners in promoting and selling fresh fruits and vegetables. “Dole can produce and market high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables, but we rely on the product expertise and customer relationships of produce managers to be the ‘face’ of our brand at the retail level,” says Bil Goldfield, Dole Food Company’s director of corporate communications. “These individuals are important to the success of Dole and our industry, and we’re proud to honor the winners and nominees by sponsoring these awards.” The 2015 United Fresh Retail Produce Manager Award winners include:
