The two companies will once again be touring the Southeast and Midwest sampling Klondike Rose and Klondike Goldust potatoes along with Johnny’s Seasonings in a 1950’s diner-style concession trailer. This one-of-a-kind concession vehicle has been an integral part of both companies’ marketing strategy for the last two years with overwhelming success. By taking the sampling trailer to corporate luncheons, store samplings and other events throughout the United States, the companies have reached a large cross-section of the American public introducing them to their product lines. “We believe that once consumers experience the quality and flavor of our Klondike Brands potatoes, they will be repeat users,” says Barbara Keckler, marketing manager at Potandon Produce. “We feel that Klondike Brands potatoes are perfectly complimented by Johnny’s Seasonings and are a great fit for this promotion.” The trailer will be visiting selected locations throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and North Carolina before moving on to Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois and Indiana with a mid-June ompletion date. After a short break the crew will be heading to the Northwest for the late summer leg of the tour.
