This month marks the nationwide roll-out of a new high quality cherry tomato, with a sleek new package designed for utility and visibility. The proprietary packaging is 100% recyclable and features a re-sealable lid with ventilation holes in both the top and bottom of the container, designed to make the rinse and storage process easier for consumers. “NatureSweet is thrilled with the fresh new look and taste of our Glorys tomatoes,” says Michael Joergensen, vice president of marketing. “The unique packaging provides renewed function, visibility and protection to ensure unrivaled freshness and taste, making them our tastiest Glorys ever.” The new look and feel of NatureSweet Glorys fresh ingredient tomatoes will please both consumers and retailers alike, company officials say. A recent study by Brand Explorers revealed that consumers expressed 92% overall liking and purchase intent when they viewed Glorys in its new packaging, while a separate study by MMR indicated consumers prefer NatureSweet Glorys nine out of 10 times in blind taste tests.
