Rockview Farms Rebrands its Good Heart Organic Milk

image003Rockview Farms, a Southern California-based family-owned dairy farm announced it is rebranding its Organic Milk to Rockview Farms Organic Milk. The rebrand includes an all-new label, but the strict process involved to produce the great-tasting milk remains the same, company officials say. Customers can expect to see the new label on shelves at select Southern California supermarkets this month. Since 1927, Rockview Farms has produced quality dairy products that are delivered from farm to supermarket in just 48 hours. The company’s organic products are made from cows raised on a strict organic diet, and never treated with hormones or antibiotics. Unlike most other organic brands, Rockview doesn’t use ultra-high temperature (UHT) pasteurization to extend shelf life, preferring instead to minimally process its milk at a lower temperature that ensures maximum nutrition and fresh taste. It is also homogenized at a lower pressure which results in a creamier texture, officials add. “The Good Heart label was introduced thirteen years ago to differentiate our organic milk from conventional Rockview Farms Milk,” says Ted DeGroot, COO, Rockview Farms. “With greater consumer and industry awareness about our brand and the lengths we go to produce the highest quality dairy products, it makes sense for us to switch to the Rockview Farms OrganicMilk name, which Southern California residents know and look for.” Rockview Farms owns its own cows, which enjoy clean water, fresh air, and ample shade and sunshine year-round, as well as an average of more than an acre per cow of organic grazing area. Rockview Farms milk is certified by USDA and Quality Assurance International. Available in Whole, Reduced Fat, Lowfat and Fat Free varieties, Rockview Farms Organic Milk is packaged in a convenient spout pack carton that helps prevent leaks and keeps milk tasting fresh longer.
