The flavor blends the taste of fire-roasted tomatillos with the smoky heat from chile de arbol – it's a classic recipe based on flavor pairings found in traditional Mexican cuisine. "What makes refrigerated Sabra Salsa different? It's all about keeping it simple and using the best tomatoes," says Tracy Luckow, marketing director at Sabra. "Our salsa starts with vine-ripened, hand-picked tomatoes from the heart of tomato country.  Then we add flavorful ingredients, like the fire-roasted tomatillos and chile de arbol, to create great combinations so that each bite tastes fresh and amazing." Sabra is celebrating the new flavor and its whole line of salsa this summer on its website SabraLove.com, where consumers can visit to download a coupon, find tasty recipes, and learn more about all of Sabra's varieties of refrigerated salsa. Sabra Fire Roasted Salsa is gluten-free, Kosher certified, cholesterol free and trans fat free, company officials say. Consumers can add the new salsa to their dipping repertoire by visiting the deli section of national retailers; the suggested retail price for each 14o-ounce container is $3.99.
