Tasteful Selections Announces Winners of the Simply Amazing Sweepstakes

Tasteful Selections baby specialty potatoes is pleased to announce Michael Cuchinelli of Cankton, La. as the winner of the $2,500 cash grand prize in the Simply Amazing Sweepstakes while nine others are named the first, second, third and fourth place winners.  logo in a gray background | The Simply Amazing Sweepstakes, which ended on November 30, 2012 and received over 12,000 entries, was built around Tasteful Selections’ primary values and specifically included prizes that winners can easily share with family and friends. The winning bag was purchased in Lafayette, La. RPE regional sales manager Rick Estess presented the grand prize to Cuchinelli on Monday in Lafayette, La. Additionally, nine other  winners won valuable prize packages from the sweepstakes.  The first place winner received a Grill Package; two second place winners received a Kindle Fire Reading Package; and three third place winners each received a Tailgating Package. Lastly, three fourth place winners each received a Family Fun Package. “Congratulations to all of our sweepstakes winners.  This was a great way for us to promote our potatoes but also give our consumers a chance to win some unique prizes that sum up what the Tasteful Selections brand is all about,” says Randy Shell, vice president of marketing and new business development at RPE. “This sweepstakes promotion generated a high level of consumer interest. We were very pleased with the participation from our retailer partners and achieved great results.” Tasteful Selections are specialty baby potatoes with unique size and flavor profiles that are available at over 8,000 retail stores nationwide.
