AUSTIN, Texas — Whole Foods Market is opening a summer farmstand in a former car dealership in Wainscott, N.Y., a town located in the popular Hamptons vacation area of Long Island.

Until Labor Day, the pop-up market will feature offerings from local stores and perishables supplied by Whole Foods.

“During each weekend, our seafood team offers cut-to-order local seafood fresh off the boats from nearby Montauk, N.Y.,” wrote Michael Sinatra, Whole Foods public relations and public affairs manager, on the retailer’s Whole Story blog.

“Even the Northeast Region’s food truck is getting in on the action and will make appearances in the Hamptons this summer, offering an array of tacos for lunch and dinner.”
