What’s the best part of your job?
Working with independent business owners on growing their sales and profitability. My dad was an independent grocer, so I think about him and how this industry enabled him to provide for his family.
What inspires your leadership approach?
Empowering each associate to create their own role. One of the things I've always loved about this company and this industry is each associate can have a different approach to their position.
What do you cherish most about being a part of the industry?
This industry is part of my family. At a young age, the connection to my dad was strong, and knowing that I had the ability to help people, like my dad, be more successful for their families was important to me. I love that I help small businesses succeed.
