WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. — Tops Friendly Markets here has announced a new partnership with Oakville, Ontario-based Tim Hortons, the largest fast-food chain in Canada, best known for its coffee, fresh-baked goods and sandwiches.

The agreement will place 20 full-service Tim Hortons restaurants, featuring the company's full line of coffee, doughnuts, bagels, sandwiches and other items, and 62 self-service kiosk locations featuring coffee, cappuccino and espresso drinks plus a variety of baked goods, in Tops Supermarkets and Tops Express locations in western New York, Rochester, central New York and northwestern Pennsylvania. All locations are expected to be open by the end of the year, and many kiosk locations will ultimately be considered for conversion into full-service restaurants.

Having Tim Hortons products in our stores will undoubtedly enhance our customers' total shopping experience.”

Tim Hortons is becoming a prominent brand in New England and other parts of the United States. This will bring the restaurant's store count to 488 in the U.S.
