Jingle Contest Under Way at Harris Teeter
Students can showcase their musical talents plus win up to $10,000 for their school in the Harris Teeter "Sing My Jingle" contest.

MATTHEWS, N.C. — Students can showcase their musical talents plus win up to $10,000 for their school in the Harris Teeter "Sing My Jingle" contest. The grand-prize winner will get $10,000, while four other winners will each receive $2,500. Contestants will be judged on creativity, talent and originality.
There will also be a "People's Choice" winner, one chosen by the public, who will get $1,000. To enter, students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12 must post a video of themselves, their band, school chorus, orchestra or other singing group performing the Harris Teeter jingle. All videos must be uploaded to the Harristeeter.com website by April 19, where they can be viewed and voted on by the public.
Harris Teeter will choose the one $10,000 and four, $2,5000 winners. The video with the most public votes will win $1,000. All contestants must be enrolled in Harris Teeter's Together in Education. TIE is a fund raising program through which Harris Teeter contributes a percentage of store-brand sales to participating schools.
