WASHINGTON. -- The American Association of Retired Persons and Centrum Silver vitamins have joined together to honor older Americans who have provided extraordinary service to their communities.

campaign will consist of 30-second spots starting in the third quarter of the year and print ads will begin with the March/April issue of Modern Maturity Magazine, an AARP publication. Free-standing floor displays and power wings are planned for major drug, supermarket and mass merchandise outlets across the country. "Centrum Silver is delighted to be entering this partnership with AARP," said Ellen Burstein, senior product manager for Centrum Silver. "It's the first time that AARP has teamed with a commercial sponsor for a program like this."
