Bashas’, Food City Partner with MyWebGrocer to Power Digital Services

MyWebGrocer will power new digital services for 63 Bashas’ stores and 48 Food City locations in the Southwest. With MyWebGrocer’s services, customers can opt in at www.bashas.com and www.myfoodcity.comto receive weekly e-mails with ad specials, shopping lists, meal ideas and more. “We strive to always improve our services to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs,” said Robert Ortiz, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Arizona-based Bashas’ Family of Stores. “This is another example of how we're bringing value to our customers.” In addition, Bashas’ and Food City vendors can feature relevant, targeted digital ads to feature popular brands. Ads are actionable; with one click, customers can add a product to their shopping list. “We are very pleased to be partnering with Bashas’ and Food City, further strengthening our presence in the Southwest,” said Curt Alpeter, Executive Vice President of MyWebGrocer. “Using digital tools to enhance the in-store shopping experience will drive larger basket size and improved loyalty for both banners.”
