Merchandiser Named By Felpausch Food

has been named grocery, frozens and dairy merchandiser by Felpausch Food Centers.

He succeeds Bill Feldpausch, who is now the director of grocery. McKillop, a Felpausch associate for 25 years, is responsible for writing the grocery, frozens and dairy department ad programs, and also serves as a merchandiser in those departments. Formerly the company's direct-store delivery coordinator, McKillop reports to the sales and merchandising team.

Felpausch operates 19 supermarkets, two convenience stores and three pharmacies in the central Michigan area.

AWG Appoints Sales Manager

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Associated Wholesale Grocers here has named Mike Danes sales manager of AWG Brands, a new position.

Danes oversees the AWG Brand counselors, who call on the stores. He also will implement new ideas and promotions to boost the sales of AWG private-label brands. He reports to Tom Watkins, executive director of AWG Brands.

Danes was retail operations specialist in the Kansas City division. His duties in that position have been absorbed by other employees.

Associated Wholesale Grocers is a cooperative with annual sales exceeding $2.5 billion that services over 730 stores in nine Midwestern states.

Chock Full O' Nuts Taps Chairman

NEW YORK -- Chock Full O' Nuts Corp. here has elected Norman E. Alexander to fill the vacant position of chairman of the board. Alexander remains an outside director of the company and will not assume any executive responsibilities. Marvin I. Haas will continue as chief executive officer.

Alexander has been a director of Chock Full O' Nuts since 1982. He is currently chairman and chief executive officer of Sequa Corp., an aerospace, machinery and metal coatings company. He will retain his duties with Sequa.

Chock Full O' Nuts roasts, packs and markets regular, instant and decaffeinated coffees under the Chock Full O' Nuts label. It is also one of the largest marketers of food-service and private-label coffees, teas and related products.

Borden Names North American VP

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Borden here has named Austin F. Noll Jr. vice president of national accounts and trade relations for North American Foods, a new position.

Assisting Noll are national accounts directors Rowan Van Echols, Robert Pallas, Martin O'Connor and Tyrone Hickman. Noll's team will have responsibility for all of Borden's North American Foods products, including pasta, dairy and niche grocery products.

Noll will also continue to represent North American Foods to key industry associations.

He joined Borden in 1987 as vice president of national account sales for the former Grocery & Specialty Products division, and in 1990 was named division vice president of national accounts and trade relations.

Noll reports to John F. Dix, vice president of shared sales and group vice president of Niche Grocery Products.

Enzo-Pac Appoints Sales Manager

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- Enzo-Pac here has named David Waite sales manager, a new position.

Waite will have national sales responsibility for Enzo-Pac's current customers in the consumer and food service markets and will manage its broker network related to existing customers. His primary focus will be building sales through new product additions and increasing unit and dollar volume of existing items to current customers.

He most recently was a sales account representative at Country Maid, Milwaukee.

Enzo-Pac is a private-label manufacturer of dry grocery products, including gelatin, pudding mixes and pancake and waffle mix.
