Eskimo Pie Appoints VP

imberly P. Ferryman has been appointed vice president of quality assurance and product development at Eskimo Pie Corp. here.

In the newly created position, Ferryman will oversee corporate quality assurance, including licensing such lines as Eskimo Pie, Welch's, Weight Watchers, Oreo, SnackWell's and 7Up, which are manufactured and distributed through a national network of licensed manufacturers. She will also oversee the soft-serve frozen yogurt mix manufacturing and corporate research and development.

With Eskimo Pie since 1978, Ferryman was previously corporate director for the company's quality assurance and product development department. She reports to David V. Clark, president and chief executive officer.

FSI Taps Sales Manager

ARCHGOLD, Ohio -- Fred Royster has joined Frozen Specialties here as Western regional sales manager, a new position. He will be responsible for broker management in retail, private label, club stores and military posts in the West.

Royster, who reports to Gene Welka, FSI's chairman and chief executive officer, joins FSI after spending several years in various sales capacities with Lender's Bagels, Blue Diamond Growers, and Stouffer Foods Corp.

FSI is a leading manufacturer of frozen pizza, with an emphasis on the value segment.
