Directors Named at Farm Fresh

here has named four managers to the position of director.

Ricky Green was named director of consumer affairs and public relations, replacing Susan Mayo, who left the company. He joined Farm Fresh in 1979 and most recently was a district manager. He reports to Michael E. Julian, president and chief executive officer.

Rick Hoskins was named director of merchandising for the company's Combo division, a new position. A 15-year veteran of the organization, Hoskins most recently was store merchandising manager. He reports to Steve Harmon, senior vice president of marketing and merchandising.

Jim Jansen was named director of marketing, a new position. He has been with the company for 18 years, most recently as director of general merchandise. He also reports to Harmon.

Monica Martin was named director of sanitation and regulatory compliance, a new position. She has been with the company for six years, most recently as manager of regulatory affairs. She reports to Julian.

Camellia Food Names Sykes President, CEO

NORFOLK, Va. -- Camellia Food Stores here has named Guy R. Sykes president and chief executive officer.

Sykes succeeds Walter Grant, who opted to retire voluntarily last month after 21 years with Camellia.

Sykes, formerly vice president and chief operating officer, has assumed Grant's titles and will also retain the title of chief operating officer.

Sykes has been with the 46-store company since 1993.

Buttrey Appoints Two Senior VPs

GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- Buttrey Food & Drug Stores here has appointed two executives to senior vice president positions. Wayne S. Peterson was named senior vice president, chief financial officer and secretary. He was also elected to the company's board of directors, expanding the board to 11. Peterson joined the company in 1987 and has been vice president, chief financial officer and secretary since 1991. Louis J. Rizzo was named senior vice president, merchandising and operations. Rizzo joined Buttrey as vice president, sales and merchandising, in early 1994. In another announcement, Craig A. Wright was named vice president, support services. He joined Buttrey in 1981 and has been director of support services since 1994. Peterson, Rizzo and Wright will continue to report to Joseph H. Fernandez, president and chief executive officer. They will also serve on the company's executive and management committees.

Genuardi Names Two Directors VPs

NORRISTOWN, Pa. -- Genuardi's Family Markets here has named two directors to vice president positions.

Gregory A. Honeyman was named vice president of operations at the 29-store chain. The position had been vacant since Art Stover retired last year.

Honeyman has been with the company since 1975, most recently as director of retail operations. He reports to Charles A. Genuardi, president and chief executive officer.

Bruce Wuerth was named vice president of marketing, a position that has been vacant since 1990.

Wuerth has been with the company since 1978 and most recently was director of merchandising. He, too, reports to Genuardi.
