Grace Names Retail Sales Director

Systems here has named Gene Matthews director of retail sales, a new position.

Matthews is responsible for increasing Grace's focus on developing the retail supermarket segment, according to the company.

He reports to Tim O'Shea, senior vice president of sales and marketing.

Matthews' previous positions include district manager for Borden Foods, Columbus, Ohio and vice president of sales for Pennsylvania Food Brokers, Conshohocken, Pa.

Super One Taps Deli Supervisor

HAYDEN, Idaho -- Super One Foods here has named Mansour Alzaharna deli supervisor, a new position.

Alzaharna was deli supervisor at 10-unit Tidyman's, Green Acres, Wash. He was there for a year and a half. Prior to that, he was hot deli manager, for Randall's Food Markets, Houston.

In his new post, Alzaharna reports to Jack Strahan, general manager for five-unit Super One.
