ie Stores here has named Randy Manning deli-bakery merchandiser for its Midwest division, which is headquartered in Louisville, Ky.
Manning was most recently deli-bakery merchandiser for the 1,180-unit chain's Greenville, N.C., division, which has been merged with the Charlotte, N.C., division. He joined Winn-Dixie in 1967 as a part-time bagger, and has since worked in various capacities, including seafood merchandiser and area supervisor.
In the Midwest division, Manning succeeds Duke Harden, who has retired after 28 years with the chain.
In his new post, Manning reports to Dan Lafever, president of the Midwest division. The division is comprised of 60 Winn-Dixie stores in Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee, and 25 Thriftway Stores in Ohio.
Pillsbury Appoints Division VP
MINNEAPOLIS -- Pillsbury Bakeries & Foodservice here has named Mark W. Krivoruchka vice president and general manager of its in-store/retail bakeries division.
With the company for five years, he was most recently vice president of human resources. He succeeds Thomas F. Rains, who has retired after 35 years in the industry. Before joining Pillsbury, Krivoruchka held positions in operations and employee relations at General Electric and McGraw-Edison.
In his new post, he reports to Paul Oliver, president of Pillsbury Bakeries & Foodservice.
