Harris Teeter Names Operations Senior VP

e has named Fred Morganthall senior vice president of operations, a new position.

In his expanded role, Morganthall oversees two vice presidents of operations and reports directly to Ned Dunn, president of Harris Teeter.

Morganthall joined the company as director of grocery merchandising in 1986 and was named to several top management positions including vice president of merchandising, vice president of distribution, vice president of merchandising and distribution, and vice president of operations, his most recent position.

Harris Teeter operates 140 stores in North and South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia and Tennessee.
