Kraft Taps Two Senior VPs

He succeeds Sandy Posa, who was filling the role on an interim basis. Posa has, in turn, been named to the new post of senior vice president of business development.

Roberts, formerly senior vice president for Efficient Consumer Response, assumes responsibility for Kraft's strategic planning function, portfolio management and key business issues across the organization. He continues to lead the company's efforts in ECR.

Posa is to develop and lead a companywide effort to leverage significant business development opportunities.

Both Roberts and Posa report to Robert S. Morrison, chairman and chief executive officer.

Campbell Fills Financial Slot

CAMDEN, N.J. -- Campbell Soup Co. has appointed Basil L. Anderson senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer.

Bob Subin, who was senior vice president of finance, is now senior vice president of global sourcing and engineering. The chief financial officer post was vacant.

Anderson, who will join Campbell April 1, was chief financial officer of Scott Paper Co. from 1993 to 1995, until Scott merged with Kimberly-Clark Co. He will report to David W. Johnson, Campbell's chairman, president and chief executive officer.

Nabisco Appoints Specialty President

PARSIPPANY, N.J. -- Daryl G. Brewster has been named president of Specialty Products Co., Nabisco Inc. here.

He succeeds J. Robert Hall, who is now senior vice president of strategic planning at Nabisco Inc.

Brewster is responsible for all operations of Specialty Products, which makes and markets Cream of Wheat cereals, Grey Poupon mustards, A.1. sauces, Milk Bone pet snacks and Royal desserts.

For the past several years, he has been with Campbell Soup Co., most recently as managing director of Campbell's Grocery Products Ltd. in the United Kingdom.

Melitta Names Executive VP

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Melitta North America, a manufacturer of coffees and coffee filters based here, has named Marty T. Miller executive vice president and chief operating officer of the consumer products division.

In the new position, Miller is responsible for all of the company's sales and marketing activities.

Miller reports to H. Helmut Radtke, chairman and chief executive officer of Melitta North America, a subsidiary of Melitta Group, Minden, Germany. Miller was vice president of sales. His career also includes positions at Campbell Soup and Vlasic Foods.

Marketer Joins Sanfilippo

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. -- Jim Barker has been hired as director of marketing at John B. Sanfilippo & Son Inc., a nut, snack and grocery food manufacturer here.

Reporting to Larry Ray, executive vice president of sales and marketing, Barker now handles marketing of Evon's, Flavor Tree and other private-label product lines. He succeeds Robert Clark, who was named vice president and general manager of the Fisher nut business.

Barker comes to Sanfilippo & Son from Daymon Associates.
