Fleming Shuffle Adds Position

Buffalo, N.Y., Retail Group of Fleming Cos. has named Robert Sorbini director of produce, bulk food and floral operations, a new position.

The position was created as part of Oklahoma City-based Fleming's consolidation of its 34 corporately owned Jubilee and Market Basket stores in western New York and northern Pennsylvania. Sorbini was with S.M. Flickinger Corp. He reports to John MacIntyre, president of the Buffalo Retail Group here.

In another change related to the consolidation, Phil Chase, the produce supervisor for Market Basket units, will now report to David Elchynski, marketing director for Market Basket stores

Buehler Taps Produce Buyer

WOOSTER, Ohio -- Buehler Food Markets here has named Dave Graf produce buyer. He succeeds Kraig Sullivan, who left the company.

Graf previously worked at the store level for Buehler. He reports to Dan Buehler, president.

Boskovich Names New Manager

OXNARD, Calif. -- Boskovich Farms here has named Dale Abbott merchandising manager, a new position. Abbott is responsible for merchandising programs, new product promotion, customer education and direct customer service.

He reports to Joe Boskovich, vice president.

Previously, Abbott worked with the California Tree Fruit Agreement, Washington Potato Commission, National Watermelon Board and Florida Tomato Commission as merchandising manager in the Southwestern United States.
