DES MOINES -- Meredith Corp.'s Ladies' Home Journal will host its third annual Smart Shopping Days at two dozen Price Chopper supermarkets in the northeast June 2 to 3.
ogos, trained supermarket representatives will distribute 25,000 Ladies Home Journal shopping bags, filled with samples, coupons, recipes and promotional literature. Themed shelf-talkers will identify each participating product as a Ladies Home Journal "smart choice."
The program will be advertised through a regional announcement ad in the June Ladies' Home Journal, listing all participants.
Ladies' Home Journal expects 18 to 25 sponsors to participate. Among them are Lipton, Reynolds, Gillette Sensor for Women and Cortaid.
Smart Shopping Days is a buy-in program for advertisers who run a minimum ad schedule and is awarded as added value for those who run a maximum.
