NESTLE ADDS SHELF-STABLE ORIENTAL KITS

GLENDALE, Calif. -- Nestle Food Co. here is introducing a new shelf-stable Oriental meals kit under the Libby's Asian Favorites brand.

eet & sour pork varieties. Each kit contains rice and all the essential sauces, seasonings and other ingredients to create Asian dishes at home in 30 minutes. The consumer adds chicken, beef or pork and fresh vegetables.

Each kit serves four and will retail for about $3.25. It will be available in the packaged dinner section of supermarkets this fall on the West Coast and by early next year in the rest of the country.
