KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — In the latest development of in-store convenience care clinics, Pilot Travel Centers here, which operates travel centers incorporating convenience items, food and other general merchandise at truck stops, has opened a medical clinic with Roadside Medical Labs, Atlanta, in Cartersville, Ga. The companies intend to create a coast-to-coast network of clinics to address the health concerns of over-the-road drivers. Pilot has 300 locations in 40 states. Roadside Medical will also offer a driver wellness program. “We provide drivers with not only the medical assistance through our clinics to help with their existing health concerns, but also make it easy for them to integrate practical health care solutions into their schedules with health care coaching, trucker tips and exercises they can do in and around their rig to keep them on a better road to health," said Joe Neely, chief executive officer of Roadside Medical Clinics.
