Victoria Fine Foods Receives Non-GMO Project Verification for its Pasta Sauces

Victoria Fine Foods (VFF), a slow kettle cooked pasta sauce manufacturer in the U.S., has received Non-GMO Project verification on the company's Victoria flagship premium pasta sauces, to build upon the company's previously verified Victoria Vegan line. Brooklyn, N.Y.-based Victoria Fine Foods, which was founded in 1929, is committed to using only the best ingredients supporting the brand’s philosophy of Ingredients Come First. VFF is a strong supporter of non-GMO food and the value of becoming Non-GMO Project Verified. The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that offers North America’s only third party verification and labeling for non-GMO (genetically modified organism) food and products. “We are delighted to receive official Non-GMO Project Verification for our flagship line of Victoria Premium pasta sauces indicating that we have met the Non-GMO Project’s stringent guidelines,” says Don Davide, chief strategy officer at Victoria Fine Foods. “Non-GMO foods are a growing consumer trend and verification provides the public assurance that products have been grown and handled according to strict procedures. In addition, the company has an Organic Garden Herb Marinara that is Non-GMO Project verified. All of the Victoria Vegan sauces have been Non-GMO Project verified since 2012.
