Last-mile delivery company DoorDash announced Monday that it has added eight new grocery partners—CUB, Eataly, El Super, Fiesta Mart, Stater Bros. Markets and Strack & Van Til—and expanded its relationship with Aldi to begin delivering alcohol for the discount grocer.

“The grocers announced today recognize DoorDash as a source of incremental growth, accelerating what we believe to be the fastest-growing platform for grocery in North America,” said Fuad Hannon, vice president of New Verticals at DoorDash, in a statement. “We strive to be the rising tide that lifts all boats—driving growth for retailers while helping consumers stock up on groceries whenever and however is best for them.”

DoorDash said in a press release that the eight new partners will now be available on the delivery company’s membership program DashPass, which includes no delivery fees for users on eligible orders of $35 or more.

DoorDash noted that its new partnerships opens up 79 grocery locations and 31 wine, spirits and liquor locations throughout Minnesota from CUB; seven Eataly locations in New York City, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Silicon Valley; 65 El Super locations across California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas; 59 Fiesta Mart locations in Houston, Dallas and Austin; 140 Lowe’s Market locations in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Kansas; 10 Pruett’s Food locations in Oklahoma and Arkansas; 170 Stater Bros. Markets locations in Southern California; and 22 Strack & Van Til locations in Northwest Indiana and Illinois.

The San Francisco-based tech company also announced that it has begun delivering alcohol for Aldi from more than 1,200 locations across 21 states.

“In addition to giving merchants a new way to reach customers, on-demand alcohol delivery helps partners grow their business. On DoorDash, adding alcohol may increase grocers’ average order value by up to 30%. Order values for U.S. convenience orders were on average over 50% higher when alcohol was added,” Hannon said in a statement. “We’ve worked hard to build a trusted alcohol ordering and delivery experience. The expansion of our partnership with ALDI reinforces our commitment to provide growth opportunities for local merchants, while simultaneously providing a safe, high-quality experience for customers.”

Aldi and DoorDash began their partnership in February, when the grocer began offering on-demand delivery to most of its locations across 38 states.

“Aldi offers an everyday selection of private-label adult beverages and rotates in limited, seasonal flavors so there’s something for everyone,” said Scott Patton, vice president of National Buying at Aldi, in a statement. “Earlier this month we also launched a new, premium ‘Specially Selected’ wine collection, with most bottles costing under $10. With the expansion of our DoorDash partnership, more consumers can now sip their favorite ALDI products at the prices they love, delivered straight to their door.”

The delivery company said it has put in place safety protocols that include two-step ID verification for orders.
