Angelic Bakehouse has unveiled sprouted 7-Grain Bread Crisps—the first product in the company’s new line, Angelic Pantry Goods.

The line extension comes on the heels of major growth for the U.S. sprouted grains market, which is projected to increase eight-fold by 2018, say company officials. A number of major food retailers and restaurants—such as Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Costco, Aldi, Target, and Panera—have added sprouted grain options to their health-food offerings. Sprouted grains are also getting recognition from nutrition and food industry experts as a major food trend for this year.

Like all of Angelic Bakehouse’s sprouted products, the Bread Crisps are made from sprouted mash whole grains of red wheat berries, quinoa, oat groats, rye berries, barley, amaranth and millet. The crisps are also GMO-free and certified kosher and Pas Yisroel by OK Kosher Certification.

“The Angelic Pantry Goods line is yet another way for us to bring the amazing benefits of sprouted grains into every meal, starting with snack time,” says Jenny Marino, CEO and president of Angelic Bakehouse. “Versatile and delicious, the sprouted 7-Grain Bread Crisps will be the first of many new and innovative products you’ll see from us this year.”
