Atkins Nutritionals, Inc. has launched Lift, a line of low-carb high protein bars and drinks. With the launch, Atkins is targeting fitness enthusiasts—not the weight loss community—and the products will be found in the sports/nutrition aisle, which is a first for Atkins, say company officials.

Whether heading to the gym or setting out on a busy day, Atkins Lift protein bars and drinks provide consumers with a steady fuel source, with high protein and fiber and fewer carbs and sugar. Atkins Lift protein line contains high quality ingredients, including whey protein and coconut oil. The bars boast 20- to 21-grams of protein, 16-grams of fiber, 3-grams of sugar, 5-grams net carbs, and 4- to 5-grams of fat.

Atkins Lift Protein Bars are gluten-free and available in four varieties: Chocolate Brownie with Almonds, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter with Chocolate Chips and Salted Caramel Crunch.

Atkins Lift Protein Drinks contain whey protein, no sugar and no artificial color or flavors. The drinks boast 20- to 21-grams of protein, 1- to 2-grams of net carbs, and zero grams of sugar and fat. They are available in three varieties: Lemon, Orange and Berry.
