Delicious & Sons, the Barcelona specialty food company, has launched its full line of authentic Mediterranean sauces, oils, spreads, dips, glazes, and condiments to U.S. markets. Now available on shelves at grocery stores and specialty food markets, Delicious & Sons’s family of products offers a true taste of the Mediterranean with the highest quality offerings that are affordable and easy to use. Notably, the products are organic, gluten-free, non-GMO, vegetarian/vegan certified and locally sourced and produced.

Based in Barcelona, Spain, Delicious & Sons was founded by Barcelona native Mónica Navarro and New Yorker Ricky Mandle, a wife and husband team who created the internationally awarded Barcelona brand Delishop. Ten years after creating Delishop, the couple has unveiled Delicious & Sons, the brand they’ve always dreamed of, with a mission to create a full line of Mediterranean products that are natural, organic, non -GMO, vegetarian and vegan without compromising on quality, flavor, or accessibility.

To ensure the authenticity of each Delicious & Sons offering, Navarro and Mandle, an accomplished chef, researched and developed their own recipes, sourced ingredients locally in their places of origin, and partnered with local producers in Spain and Italy who have experience with the techniques and applications required by every product.

Delicious & Sons is committed to following the traditional processes unique to each product to honor its Mediterranean roots. Thirteen of the seventeen products in the Delicious & Sons line are produced in Italy, in the origin of each particular recipe, as are each of the four Spanish recipes made in Spain.”

“When we began developing the recipes behind the Delicious & Sons brand, our biggest priorities were to focus on incredible taste and easy application,” said Mandle. “As a chef who has studied and cooked all over Europe, I know just how incredible the flavors of the Mediterranean are, and I wanted to create a true and delicious representation of the region we love so much. And as the dad of a busy family I want to nourish around the dinner table, I also understand that the ingredients we use in our kitchen each week need to be affordable, trustworthy, and simple to use. Mónica and I have poured ourselves into creating a line of products that we can stand by and be proud of, and we look forward to sharing it with America.”

Navarro adds: “It is a myth that you can’t provide the highest quality products at a reasonable price, and it was our goal to prove that with Delicious & Sons. We want the U.S. consumer to know that delicious, honest, wholesome products are within their reach – not just on special occasions, but every day – and we look forward to sharing our family of flavors with them.”
