Dimpflmeier Bakery released its CARB SMART bread, a new bread that contains 34 grams of protein, eight grams of fiber and only two grams of carbohydrates per 100 gram serving.

"We really feel that this product is the bread that the world has been waiting for," says general manager Torsten Galle. "So many people have given up the bread they love in order to lose weight. Now we finally have a product that addresses this very large group of consumers. Finally, they can eat bread again."

Dimpflmeier's CARB SMART is the product of years of research and development to create a high quality, all-natural healthy bread option that still offers the satisfying taste and texture of a good bread.

The fourth largest bakery in North America, Dimpflmeier Bakery Ltd. is a family-owned business based in Etobicoke, Ontario, that has been developing and selling all-natural high-quality breads since 1956. Dimpflmeier products can be found in grocery and specialty stores around the country.
