Guiding Stars is a shelf tag program that rates products with one, two or three stars. It was developed by Scarborough, Maine-based Hannaford Bros., and launched at that chain in 2006, and later rolled out to other Delhaize-owned chains. It offers the labeling program to other retailers and institutions though Guiding Stars Licensing Co., also based in Scarborough.
