ST. LOUIS -- Health Resource Publishing Co. here has signed agreements with Winn-Dixie Stores, Jacksonville, Fla., and Schnuck Markets here to distribute its Health Resource newsletter to pharmacies in those chains, said Mike McClorey, the publishing company's president.

The agreement with Schnuck is for a five- to seven-store test in the St. Louis area and takes effect in the next couple of months, McClorey said.

The newsletter is given to shoppers filling prescriptions and contains tailored information provided on the basis of a particular customer's condition, age and gender, among other factors. The newsletter also contains drug ads triggered by the prescription's National Drug Code.
