Pamela’s Products’  debuted its new Oat Up Bars at Natural Product Expo East. These hearty, gluten-free bars boast wholesome organic whole grains to help consumers power through the day, company officials say.

“Oats have strong health benefits, but hectic mornings can make it unrealistic to make a hot breakfast like oatmeal. Our goal is to offer an easy, delicious and nutritious kick-start to the day. With these bars, you can take your bowl of oatmeal to go,” says Pamela’s Products founder and CEO Pamela Giusto-Sorrells. “We created these flavors based on popular, as well as unusual, oatmeal combinations and think consumers will find our soft, chewy Oat Up Bars a great alternative to the dry, plank-style bars currently available on the market.”

Made with USDA Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified ingredients and sweetened with agave and dates, the new Oat Up Bars are packed with up to 15 grams of whole grains, at least 15 milligrams of Omega-3 Fatty Acids, and 2-3 grams of fiber per bar. This Certified Gluten-Free line is available in five flavors, including:

·Intense Ginger Spice – a combination of organic crystallized ginger, organic ground ginger and hearty walnuts (vegan)

·Cinnamon Oatmeal – classic flavor of organic cinnamon for oatmeal purists (vegan)

·Cranberry Orange – tangy organic cranberries, zesty orange and a dash of organic cinnamon (vegan)

·Peanut Butter – smooth organic peanut butter providing a healthy boost of four grams of protein per serving (vegan)

·2 Chocolates Almonds –  a duo of organic dark chocolate chunks and white chocolate chips, balanced by creamy organic almond butter (contains dairy)

The individually wrapped Oat Up Bars are slated to hit store shelves nationwide this October (SRP $1.69 per bar).
