Pop Art Snacks Launches Line of Mash-Up Popcorn Flavors and a Holiday Tin

Pop Art Snacks, an organic, gourmet popcorn brand, has launched two new product lines. The first, a line of Mash-Ups, is based on the Chicago-style popcorn blending cheese and caramel varieties. The second line celebrates the traditional holiday popcorn tin, though, following in Pop Art’s artistically-influenced designs, features original artwork by designer/illustrator Sam Hundley.

The Mash-Ups line includes two popcorn flavors, Honey Caramel & Feta Cheese and Chipotle Caramel & Cheddar Cheese. Inspired by the flavors found on a gourmet cheese plate, the Honey Caramel & Feta Cheese popcorn variety offers sweet and salty nuances, while with the Chipotle Caramel & Cheddar Cheese popcorn, snackers will enjoy smooth and creamy flavors with a fiery sweetness.

“Pop Art Snacks’ Mash-Up style popcorn is inspired by the DJ movement of artistically overlapping two songs together to make a singular piece of music,” says founder Mike Dobson. “In this harmonious blend of popcorn, the combination of sweet caramel and savory seasoned popcorn together creates a luxurious snacking experience.”

With Pop Art’s signature boldly colored packaging, this time inspired by modern DJ venues and by Studio 54, where many of the original Pop Artists hung out, the Mash-Up popcorn varieties are available in 6-ounce bags. 

For the holidays, Pop Art Snacks will debut a new seasonally-inspired flavor, Gingerbread Caramel, in the limited edition tin featuring Hundley’s illustrations from his 1,001 Holiday Doodles project. The Gingerbread Caramel popcorn hosts the classic holiday flavor combination of ginger, molasses, cinnamon, and clove, reminiscent of a freshly baked gingerbread cookies.

“This holiday flavor is the perfect gift to share with family and friends,” says Dobson. “It is sure to conjure up so many pleasant holiday memories and will be the perfect snack for you to share as you build new memories with the ones you love.”

The limited edition Gingerbread Caramel popcorn is available in 7-ounce tins.

Mash-Ups will be available to ship in May, while Holiday Tin orders placed by July 15 will ship in October.
