BENTONVILLE, Ark. — Sam’s Club is hoping to make shoppers’ resolutions a little more attainable in the new year by offering in-store events focusing on health and wellness. On Jan. 5 and 12, it will distribute complementary samples and host demonstrations for its members and guests on setting realistic resolutions and goals for improving health. Healthy products will be highlighted along with copies of Resolution to Results Magazine, which contains healthy recipes and tips for keeping New Year’s Resolutions. The events will be sponsored by the Dannon Co., Gatorade, Tropicana, Campbell Soup Co., Unilever, Nestlé Waters North America, One A Day and others. “Millions of Americans have a heightened awareness of their health and wellness due to increasing reports of obesity, heart disease, diabetes and more,” said Mike Pitzl, director of pharmacy operations at Sam’s Club, in a statement. “Sam’s Club is pleased to give local residents in the communities we serve an opportunity to improve their health through these valuable and free services.”
