Sesame King Tahini Receives Non-GMO Project Verification for its Tahini Pastes

Sesame King Tahini has received verification by the Non-GMO Project for their Roasted and Light Roasted Tahini pastes. Participating in the Non-GMO Project Verification Program was a natural step for Sesame King Tahini, whose mission is to provide its customers with a healthy, nutritious and safe tahini.                                                                                                                                         

The Non-GMO Project is North America’s only independent verification organization for foods produced in accordance with its standard for avoidance of genetically modified organisms (GMOs). The organization uses a process that combines on-site facility audits, document-based review and product testing to verify compliance with the standard at every level of the supply chain, from manufacturing facilities to ingredient suppliers. The Non-GMO Project shares the belief that everyone deserves an informed choice about whether or not to consume genetically modified organisms.
