Simply7 Kale Chips, which launched in late 2015, are hitting store shelves now. The kale and potato chips offer the health benefits of kale—nearly 80 percent of the recommended daily intake of vitamin K—and the taste, crunch and satisfaction of eating real potato chips, say company officials.

Simply7 Kale Chips are available in three flavors: Sea Salt, Dill Pickle and fresh Lemon & Olive Oil. All three flavors are kosher certified; non-GMO; gluten free; and do not include trans-fat, artificial colors or flavors, or preservatives. d contain about 55% fewer calories from fat and a higher amount of antioxidants than regular potato chips.

All Simply7 chips are self-manufactured at Simply 7 Snacks’ plant in Houston. The suggested retail price is $2.99-$3.49, which translates to a higher potential for strong retail promotions, officials add.

Simply7 products are sold nationwide in leading grocery store and retail chains, as well as specialty markets including Whole Foods, Kroger, Fresh Market, Walmart, Target, Shaws, Costco, Wegmans, Giant, Safeway (deli section), Winn Dixie and more.
