“It wasn’t long ago that ‘gluten-free’ also meant ‘free of appealing flavor, texture and nutrition,’ the Stellarton, Nova Scotia-based retailer said in a release. “Not anymore. We’re proud of our expanding selection of Compliments Gluten-Free products—all certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Program.”

New products include all-purpose flour blend, yellow and chocolate cake mixes, and prepared quinoa muffins, cranberry lemon muffins, chocolate brownies, quinoa cookies and hot cross buns. New gluten-free breads and rolls include sandwich rolls, white and whole grain loaves, chia seed bread and cinnamon raisin bread. Pastas include penne, spaghetti and fusilli.
